Sheepshead Bay is one of our home neighborhoods, and the pickup route reflects it. The stretch along Emmons Avenue is co-ops and elevator buildings where the doorman or the lobby is the easiest handoff, while the blocks running inland toward Avenue Z are one- and two-family houses where the bag simply waits on the porch. Between the two, the walk-ups off Sheepshead Bay Road usually mean a buzzer and a flight of stairs — tell us the apartment number when you book and the driver won't be standing outside guessing.

Emmons Avenue is also one of the busiest restaurant and nightlife strips in South Brooklyn, and a large share of our work here is commercial rather than household. Restaurants and catering halls send tablecloths, napkins and chef coats; bars send bar mops and staff shirts; cafés, bakeries and the supermarkets along Sheepshead Bay Road and Avenue U send towels, aprons and uniforms. Those go out on a fixed daily or every-other-day route with one invoice at the end of the week instead of a card charge after every pickup — no contract and no minimum volume. Because this is home ground, it's the neighborhood where same-day is most often possible — which matters more for a restaurant that needs linen back before service than for anyone else. A bag collected on a morning run between Ocean Avenue and Knapp Street can be back the same evening rather than the next day. Weekend windows fill first around the bay, so book a day ahead if you want the early slot. Students at Kingsborough Community College, at the eastern tip of the neighborhood, run small standing weekly windows during term — same morning each week, back folded the next day.
